StJosephsCatholicPrimarySchoolRiverwood_SchoolLife_StudentVoiceLeadership opportunities to participate in the Student Representative Council exist for students from Years 3–6. Student ideas and opinions are shared and discussed at Student Representative Council meetings with our leaders being the voice for their grades. Students are also invited to apply to become Mini Vinnies Leaders from Years 3–6.

Every student in Year 6 has the opportunity to apply for one of our many leadership roles; including school captain, sports captain, mission leader and environmental leader.

A message from our student leaders:
It has been our ambition to follow our school’s vision and mission to be active, collaborative and creative learners. We have achieved this by being role models to the infant grades, setting goals for ourselves and responding to feedback from our teachers.

We always try to follow in the footsteps of Jesus and just like St Mary of the Cross MacKillop, at this school, we have been taught to “Never see a need without doing something about it”. Through our collaboration in Mini Vinnies and fundraising activities such as Project Compassion, we have had the chance to help and reach out to other communities.

We will always remember and hold onto the friendships we made and the teachers we have had at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School.
